Based in Rendlesham, Suffolk, Tactile Signs was the first specialist manufacturer of tactile signs in the UK and has been at the forefront of developing quality, customised tactile signage for the public and private sectors. Established in 1989, the company played an important role in shaping the UK legislation that was to become the Equality Act 2010.

The company uses the most advanced techniques to manufacture both photopolymer and vacuum formed signs. The end product is high quality signs fully required by latest guidelines. Not only do the signs meet the needs of those with visual impairments, but the incorporation of pictograms, wherever possible, means that the signs are also designed for those with learning difficulties. The end product is superior in every detail, both functionally and visually. Signs can be produced in corporate colours and incorporate the most intricate of company logos.
