Induction Loop

Induction Loop

In October 2004, the final phase of the Equality Act 1995 made a requirement for ALL public services, even schools & churches, to make provision for the hard of hearing.

Induction loop systems are used to assist the hard of hearing. This is achieved by transmitting a sound from a microphone, telephone or another source, then sending it directly to the hearing aid. This reduces background noise.

We offer 2 products:

Portable – This can be taken anywhere and be used for example at reception desks, meeting rooms and service counters.

Fixed Counter – This is similar to the portable version but offers a permanent mains operated loop facility for service points and counters that are in constant use.

“I am pleased to take this opportunity to thank you and your company Tactile Signs for the excellent service in the execution of your signage audit, manufacture and installation of your signs at Brighton and Hove Town Hall.”
