Induction Loop
In October 2004, the final phase of the Equality Act 1995 made a requirement for ALL public services, even schools & churches, to make provision for the hard of hearing.
Induction loop systems are used to assist the hard of hearing. This is achieved by transmitting a sound from a microphone, telephone or another source, then sending it directly to the hearing aid. This reduces background noise.
We offer 2 products:
Portable – This can be taken anywhere and be used for example at reception desks, meeting rooms and service counters.
Fixed Counter – This is similar to the portable version but offers a permanent mains operated loop facility for service points and counters that are in constant use.
