Steppa
The 3 labels which form the Stepa™ system are a series of three, two and one raised bars which correspond to the centre of the appropriate steps. As the hand touches the outer side of the handrail, the raised bars give confirmation of the number of steps remaining.
This is a simple measure but a really practical one. Their use limits the danger of stairs brought upon the visually impaired.
Each of the “labels” is produced in a clear polycarbonate thus ensuring that the appearance of the staircase is not spoiled.
“I am pleased to take this opportunity to thank you and your company Tactile Signs for the excellent service in the execution of your signage audit, manufacture and installation of your signs at Brighton and Hove Town Hall.”
